The atelier of Cesare Sgambati is situated in Torella dei Lombardi, in the heart of Irpinia. The passion for art, together with cultural training of the artist and the use of traditional techniques, creates a style that mixes the ancient and the modern. The results are gorgeous handmade products. In the atelier you will find majolica pottery, that reproduce ancient artefacts and typical decorations of central-southern Italy, inspired by the XVI, XVII, XVIII, all realized by hand. Sgambati is specialized in representing landscapes, sacred and mythological images. Thanks to the collaboration of cabinetmakers and woodcarvers, inside the laboratory are created wood-ceramic combinations of unique quality such as china cupboard, shelves, tables, bathroom furniture, kitchen, sacred furnishings, etc…

The artist also performs any kind of items and decorations for public and private organizations. He also participates in courses organized at schools.
