The Holy Virgin Maria del Carmelo feastivity is celebrated in Morra De Sanctis at mid-july, in the Church of the Carmine. The holiday remember the apparition of July 16, 1251 to San Simone Stock, prior general of the Carmelite order, which he received from Madonna a precious vestment.
