Everything is prepared with the simplicity of the Don Luigi’s culinary tradition, who in 1872 wanted to open the Grillo d’Oro, which was originally a simple tavern. The restaurant, adjacent to the beautiful Convento’s square, presents for its customers a range of specialties such as fried lamb’s liver, tripe with tomato sauce, cavatelli and beans, marcannali. On request, it is served stuffed or cacciatora pigeon, rabbit with potatoes and the lamb of Formicoso. The Grillo d’Oro also has nice rooms for a more comfortable stay in Bisaccia.
